Soil<\/h2>\n

The type of soil, the area characteristic and present in other similar formations of Montefeltro, is mainly calcareous clay and limestone arenaceous. These characteristics, combined with the climate and the type of viticulture implemented, contribute to the heritage of our wines.

Climate<\/h2>\n

The climate is mild, with hot summers and cool winters. Snowfalls are scarce in areas of lower altitude, while in higher areas they are common to every winter, and in some cases even abundant. Grape variety<\/h2>\n

The main grape variety is red, specifically Sangiovese, followed by white grapes: Biancal, Ribolla and Moscato, all cultivated on these slopes since ancient times. Also the altitude, thanks to the particular conformation of the territory, is rather varied. So we find the lower plants at about 50 meters above sea level. San Marino is one of the oldest republics in the world. Its capital of the same name stands on the slopes of Mount Titano and is famous for its medieval old town surrounded by walls and cobbled streets. On the three peaks of the mountain rise the three towers, fortresses dating back to the 11th century.
